“In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.”
We all have been there and know that traffic is the lifeblood of website or blog.
In order to build a WordPress Site, all you need is a domain name and web host.
There are a few services to choose from but Personally, I’m using Host Gator and has been very satisfied.
Once you have chosen where your blog will live you can begin setting up your hosting account, where you will install WordPress and begin creating your pages.
Next, choose a WP theme, add your text its that easy.
WordPress has been the most popular blog platform for many bloggers online today.
First, you want to start your content writing in a way that helps people in what ever niche you choose to blog about.
for example, if you’re building a blog about cooking you can give 5 recipes most Chef and head cooks should know.
Secondly, your title should be eye-catching and entice the viewer to click on your link. By having an eye-catching title you have the potential for viewers to read more of your blog content.
Remarkable for the starter, many beginners would consider valuable content to be content that teaches or shows them something relevant and useful to them in some way.
Once a visitor land on your blog you have a chance to build rapport and start building an audience.
So creating content that’s compelling enough to attract an audience should be your primary focus.
Obviously, now with your audience in mind creating content that has been relevant has built enough trust that they may be interested in taking a look at your product or services.
Here is a few thing to keep in mind when creating a new Post for your blog.
- Identify where there is a need in the market and learn how to be a helpful resource for answers to that need.
- Optimize the entire process so you don’t have to work long hours to keep it going.
- What you are knowledgeable about and feel confident you could help people with.
Using images on your WordPress Site
You may not realize, but images have been brilliant and can generate a ton of traffic from image-based search engines.
Once you learn how to optimize your images you can pull traffic from sites such as Pinterest and Instagram thus helping your site rank.
Place your cursor where you would like the image to appear, and click on the Add Media icon found directly above your editor.
When inserting images into your posts and pages, you can have your text wrap around them. Just click on your inserted image to select it, then choose the alignment you want.
If you don’t want the text to wrap around your image, you can remove the left or right alignment from your images.
Also, when adding images be sure to make the image file size as small as possible so it doesn’t affect loading time with your WordPress blog.
